Charles Johnson, Vice President
Charlie
has supported manufacturing and service industry organizations worldwide for more
than thirty years. From the shop floor to the executive offices of organizations
like Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Georgia-Pacific, Milliken, GlaxoSmithKline, Stone
Container, Merck-Medco and Boehringer-Ingleheim, he has partnered and teamed with
employees to drive continuous improvement and lasting personal and organizational
change.
For more than ten years, Charlie has worked with the Competing Values Framework
assessment from the University of Michigan to facilitate current state diagnosis
and future state planning to understand organizational culture and drive business
success. CVF permits organizations to take a snap shot of their current culture,
explore the levers and opportunities to change culture while defining a roadmap
for sustainable change.
Charlie has spent a significant portion of the past decade training and mentoring
LeanSixSigma champions, master blackbelts and blackbelts in the defense and pharmaceutical
industries. In this role, Charlie has expanded his personal knowledge and application
of continuous improvement tools while partnering in their respective organizations
to effectively drive fundamental improvement by focusing on customer, capability
and culture.
Charlie received undergraduate and MBA degrees from the University of Georgia and
remains active in campus and alumni activities today. He is an avid, but unfortunately
average golfer still holding on to the dream of breaking 80 someday.
